Tullamore Show 2017
In the early 1990’s, a small group of people met with the idea of reviving the agricultural show in Tullamore, it was the only large town in the midlands that did not have a show of its’ own at that time and it had been 53 years since the last show had taken place. The year was 1991, the Celtic tiger was about to grip the economy and Irelands’ largest agricultural event The Spring Show was coming to an end
The Tullamore Show & AIB National Livestock Show is Ireland's premier agricultural event. Every year, it attracts the best cattle, sheep, and equine breeders from all over the country, alongside entrants for its other 1000-plus competitions with a total prize-fund of €175,000.
