Durrow Scarecrow Festival

Yearly Durrow holds a nine day festival with approximately 300 scarecrows located in the village of Durrow. The festival includes a daily line up of various events including Arts and Crafts, Teen zones, sporting activities and markets.  The Durrow Scarecrow Festival is a family fun event for young and old.

Events include the All Ireland Scarecrow Championship with a total prize fund of €3000, outdoor markets, a craft workshop and demonstration, an art and craft exhibition, live music, street performances and Jarvey tours. The Scarecrow Village is a must to visit, with many scarecrows on display. Here you can take part in workshops and see a craft demonstration.
