  • Leave the M1 at Junction 1 & Join the M50 motorway
  • At Junction 6 continue on to the M50 Toll motorway (Signposted Southbound Toll)
  • Leave M50 at Junction 9 & merge onto M7 (signposted Limerick)
  • Continue Straight on M7 to Exit 17
  • Take 3rd Exit off roundabout (signposted Carlow, Tullamore & Portlaoise)

Journey time approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes

  • Join the M8 Motorway (signposted Dublin)
  • Continue onto Junction 17 on the M8 through the M8 Toll Plaza
  • Cross Rivers Bride and Blackwater
  • Continue forward onto the M7 Toll Motorway (Signposted Dublin)
  • Portlaoise Toll Plaza
  • Leave M7 at Junction 17
  • Take 2nd Exit off roundabout (signposted Carlow, Tullamore & Portlaoise)

  • Join M7 Motorway (signposted Dublin) onto Limerick by pass
  • At Junction 21 continue forward on to the M7 Toll Motorway (Signposted Dublin)

  • Leave M7 at Junction 17
  • Take 1st Exit off roundabout (signposted Carlow, Tullamore & Portlaoise)

Travelling from Galway

Journey time approximately 2 hours

  • Join the M6 Motorway signposted Dublin
  • Leave the M6 at junction 5, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit, then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N52 (signposted Tullamore)
  • At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N52 (signposted Nenagh) onto Tullamore Bypass
  • At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N52 (signposted Nenagh)
  • At Cloncollog Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N52 (signposted Nenagh)
  • At Clonminch Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the N80 (signposted Portlaoise)
  • Continue forward onto the N80 entering Killeigh & Mountmellick
  • In Mountmellick, take right turn off Patrick Street on to Pearse Street.
  • Continue on N80 entering Portlaoise
  • Continue straight on to the Abbeyleix road, towards the M7 Motorway
  • Just before motorway (after 5 roundabouts) take left turn (Blue Totem pole – Midway)
